The Victoria Hospitals Foundation raises funds to support priority medical equipment needs and special projects at Royal Jubilee Hospital and Victoria General Hospital. These are Vancouver Island’s two largest and most comprehensive hospitals.
The generosity of donors enables us to provide funding to our hopsitals that contributes to better patient care, faster diagnosis, and more efficient treatment for all Island residents.
Your donations help purchase urgently needed medical equipment — from defibrillators and neonatal incubators to pressure relief beds, to the most advanced medical imaging and surgical tools available. We consult with the Vancouver Island Health Authority every year to determine the highest priorities in medical equipment needs, so we know where your donations will have the most impact.
As a donor to the Victoria Hospitals Foundation, you always have the option of choosing which area of care, hospital, program, or specific equipment item you wish to support. Some donors opt to support to the greatest need, enabling funds to be directed to where they are currently most urgently needed. Click here for more information on what we support.
