The Victoria Hospitals Foundation raises funds to support excellence in patient care at Vancouver Island's two largest hospitals: the Royal Jubilee and the Victoria General. Every year, we fund over 40% of medical capital equipment purchases for these hospitals. Since our inception in 1989, we have raised more than $70 million to improve patient care on Vancouver Island.
Your donations work to fund 11 broad areas of care at both the Victoria General Hospital and the Royal Jubilee Hospital:
|
Adult Intensive Care Cancer Care Cardiac Care Diagnostic Services Emergency & Trauma Care General Medicine |
Maternity & Pediatric Care Mental Health Neurosciences & Rehabilitation Seniors Health Surgical Services |
You can also choose to contribute to the area of Greatest Need. This enables gifts to be directed to wherever they are currently most needed at our hospitals. The Victoria Hospitals Foundation works closely with the Vancouver Island Health Authority to determine the highest priorities in medical equipment needs each year for both the Royal Jubilee Hospital and the Victoria General Hospital.
The Victoria Hospitals Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization governed by a volunteer board of directors who contribute their time and expertise to support advancements at the Royal Jubilee and Victoria General Hospitals.
To encourage contributions to improve health services at Victoria's hospitals for the benefit of all Vancouver Island residents and visitors.
