Thank You for Your Nominations to Shine a Light on Frontline Hospital Heroes

December is a time to reflect on the past year and celebrate those who make exceptional contributions to our community. We can’t think of anyone more deserving of recognition than our local Hospital Heroes, whose dedication to keeping our community safe and healthy is nothing short of inspiring—now, more than ever.

This is our opportunity to thank them as we near the end of another challenging and unpredictable year.

In November, we asked Island Health employees to nominate a fellow frontline worker from Royal Jubilee, Victoria General, or Gorge Road hospitals and tell us what makes them special. The Victoria Hospitals Foundation will Shine a Light  on these individuals on our social media channels and website throughout the month of December. Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit a nomination in order to help us recognize the heroic contributions of our frontline workers over this past year.
