Avery Brohman
CEO, Victoria Hospitals Foundation
Avery is the Chief Executive Officer of the Victoria Hospitals Foundation (VHF), which she proudly joined in 2018. In her time, Avery has led the Foundation to double its revenue, ensuring more resources are provided for Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals, the referral centres for Vancouver Island.
Avery’s professional background spans nearly twenty years of non-profit leadership at some of the most respected and reputable national organizations including Ovarian Cancer Canada, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Avery is also an accomplished sales professional having lead sales, strategy, and partnerships for Shaw Communications in Northern Canada.
Avery is a graduate from Ryerson University’s Fundraising Management program and obtained a Public Relations diploma at Conestoga College. She has received a “Top 40 Under 40” award and is an active mentor with the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Avery is a champion for change and impact and works closely with caregivers and donors to advance the care all Islanders rely on. As she often states, “all together, we can do so much.”
