Visions is Victoria’s premiere gala event hosted annually by the Victoria Hospitals Foundation in support of Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals. Since its inception, healthcare leaders, the community and our sponsors have helped raise more than $7 million dollars in support of healthcare on Vancouver Island.

For 26 years, funds raised at Visions have gone directly towards purchasing equipment for Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals. Thanks to hundreds of generous leaders in our community, our hospitals have benefited in a variety of areas of care and in multiple departments:

  • 2016: Surgery equipment
  • 2015: Interventional angiography systems
  • 2014: Transesophageal echocardiogram ultrasounds
  • 2013: Patient Care Centre equipment: vital signs monitors, smart beds, vocera communications devices, wireless telemetry system
  • 2012: Medication Dispensing Cabinets

This year, the 2017 Visions gala aims to raise more than $635,000 for equipment that improves patient care for Vancouver Island residents. You can help us raise funds for equipment that benefits Island patients – your friends, neighbours, and family – in our community’s two major hospitals by attending, sponsoring or donating items to our live and silent auctions.

Volunteers

Visions is driven by an incredible team of volunteer who provide their time, energy and expertise. We are grateful to the many volunteers who make this evening possible. Our steering committee plans all the event details and our auction committee coordinates the fantastic live and silent auctions.
